My favorite time of the year is when MAC Cosmetics comes out with a new make-up collection. For Spring 2015 they launched MAC Is Beauty. The limited-edition collection stands for indulging oneself in a world of pure vanity by way of “emerging perfectly coiffed, polished and all glammed up”.
Is it just me or is this what every woman’s goals are when using MAC products? When I purchase MAC make-up, I know that I’m buying expert products that will help my skin look flawless while still expressing my true personality through their varied colors and styles. I guess you could say I am a little high-maintenance when it comes to my make-up. Maybe not everyday, but definitely for special occasions.
MAC Is Beauty was launched last week and is only available until it runs out. Many of the MAC counters have already had their special launch events, however the largest event is happening today! The MAC counter at San Tan Dillard’s is featuring demos and full make-up appointments all weekend with the new collection. Walk-in’s are welcome! MAC Cosmetics at Biltmore Fashion Park has an event today as well, however you have to call to schedule an appointment.
I’ve been collecting lipstick since I was old enough to know what lipstick is. As I’m getting older, I’m becoming more selective on what lip colors I purchase for myself. I have a better idea as to what looks good on me and my fare, pink and freckled skin. I choose two of my favorite colors from the MAC Is Beauty lipstick line. Only picking two out of the 12 colors they have was almost impossible! They have colors from bright white-pink, intense fuchsia, rosy reds to light brown-pink or mauve nudes. I decided to add to my collection Make Me Gorgeous, a dramatic coral in their amplified formula and Silly, a matte highlighter pink. Silly happens to be a color that was available at MAC before and thankfully for me they reintroduced it to the public. What colors you will choose? All colors are here.
