The Arizona sun can be brutal on our hair, lips and skin. It’s so dry here, so I am always running into issues with dehydration. Drinking water does not do the trick all on it’s own. I’ve invested my time in finding my favorite products to share with you. You don’t necessarily need to bring these products poolside, but they are so helpful after a long day outside near the water. A helpful hint when finding the right products for you is to purchase sample sizes. That way you don’t have to commit to the larger more expensive products before confirming that they work for you. If you love it, buy a larger size and now you have a perfect sample to use while traveling – win, win!

[From Left to Right]

Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream – this primer is one of the best products to use year round, but especially during the summer. I love how it protects your skin since it has SPF built in, while providing coverage since it is tinted to match your skin color and keeps you shine-free.

Klorane Dry Shampoo – I’ve tested multiple dry shampoos and this one works really well, it is easy to use and compliments my brown hair without turning it an ashy grey color.

Pure Brazilian Leave-In Conditioner – I love that it helps to strengthen and repair my hair, while also allowing me to detangle my hair after swimming in chlorine. Also, it is literally the best smelling hair product I’ve ever used – Aaron thinks so too!

Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray – I have extremely straight hair and even these beach waves can give me some texture and wave. Not to mention that it protects against harmful sun exposure, dehydration and color-fade.

Eva NYC Up All Night Volumizing Spray – This spray protects again heat exposure and also repairs your hair, so you do not have to feel bad about blasting your blowdryer on your hair after a long day outside. Plus it gives life to your tired locks.

Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme – The best part about wearing this lip gloss during the summer and at a pool party is that since it’s clear I can easily put it on without a mirror and it gives my lips the plump look without having to spend time on lip liners and liquid lipsticks. If I want to layer it on top of color, I love that I can do that as well.

Aquage Volumizing Fix Hairspray – I love that it gives my hair volume during the time of year that I need it the most, while also protecting my hair against the Arizona heat and prolonging my color. It a great compliment product to the Up All Night Volumizing Spray.

Supergoop! Super Power Sunscreen Mouse SPF 50 – This product is perfect for someone who wants to hydrate their skin as they apply sunscreen without the greasy feeling. Best part, it absorbs quickly and last for 80 minutes in the water.

Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil by Tatcha Pure – I love that this product not only cleanses your skin, but hydrates as it does. It is one of the best makeup removers I have ever used. It’s much easier to use than the basic eye makeup removers and it doesn’t dry your skin out like those do.

  1. You look so cute babe! Such great products. I have the opposite problem my hair is so pouffy and curly lol. I wish my hair was silky and straight. We always want the opposite huh?! ❤

  2. Such an adorable poolside look! We just visited Arizona for the first time earlier this year, and I couldn’t believe how quickly our skin dried out–we live in South Carolina where it is SO humid all of the time! I will have to remember this list for our next trip out there. 🙂

  3. Oh some amazing beauty recommendations. I’ve been curious about the smashbox bb cream and see how it performs. I personally love the Pure Brazilian Leave-In Conditioner. It’s amazing for the hair.
