Another look from my bohemian styled photo shoot with Erika Greene from Erika Greene Photography showcases this red dress from Verity. This look also happens to be my favorite from the entire shoot. I think it’s because it was the third look that Erika photographed, so by that point Erika and I had already bonded over a cholla cactus getting stuck in my leg, and stuck in her shoes, so we were pretty comfortable together. Also, I absolutely love how the Verity dress flows in the wind as I’m dancing around the desert. The deep red color is so gorgeous against the sun setting on the mountains at Lost Dutchman State Park. I always told my dad when I was little that the Arizona mountains look like a painting and this is no exception.

The Ambrosia Maxi Dress in burgundy from Verity has a flowy skirt, but the top is tight to fit to your figure. Since it’s backless, I love that it is tighter on top because it’s easier to not wear a bra. The back has three straps across the back and a halter tie around the neck. There is an empire waist, which is more comfortable and less restricting. I chose to wear this dress with my black flat Steve Madden short boots so that the skirt kissed the ground. You could easily wear heels with this dress if you prefer. To give you a point of reference, I’m 5’9″ and wearing a size small.

As for the jewelry, I stacked my Alex and Ani bracelets, along with my Bourbon and Boweties bracelets too. I have all metals from silver, yellow gold and rose gold shown. I also have a couple vintage statement rings on. Since I wore my hair down and there is a halter top and back detail, I did not wear a necklace or earrings.
