To date, this is still one of my favorite photo shoots that I was a part of by myself, meaning that I was photographed without my husband, my blogger girls, or my dog-child. Sometimes, most times, it can be awkward to be photographed by yourself and then you add in another element like a body of water, which can make it even more challenging. Thankfully, shooting with Erika Greene Photography provides me with direction, confidence and creativity.

I had the opportunity to shoot with Erika earlier in 2017 because she posted on Instagram about a model call that my friend tagged me in. I wanted to get to know local creatives, especially photographers, in order to gain experience and content for TFK blog. After our first shoot together, we talked about the possibility of traveling for the next shoot and doing something unexpected. I started seeing photos on Instagram of couples or models in bodies of water and I was really hoping that Erika was wanting to do something adventurous. To my excitement, Erika and I had a planning call prior to the shoot and Erika asked me how I felt about submerging into a body of water. I was like, heck yes! She told me her plans, ideas and goals. I took care of the overall styling (hair, makeup, attire, jewelry) to match her concept and I have to say that it came together better than I hoped! What do you think of the shoot? Would you ever do a shoot in water with your significant other for engagement, anniversary or holiday photos? What other types of photos are you hoping to see here on TFK blog? Comment below! I would love to hear your thoughts.
