I’m sad to say that this is my third and last look to share with you from Phoenix Fashion Week 2016. I had such an amazing time seeing young brands and determined designers show their creations on the runway. There is always so much inspiration on the Phoenix Fashion Week stage and each designer’s drive and motivation is contagious.

I thought it was only fitting to display three unique designs by Phoenix Fashion Week’s 2015 Designer of the Year for each night of the event. I first laid eyes on Hues of Ego at the 2014 Phoenix Fashion Week runway show. I was lucky enough to go as a guest of Lauren Garcia (read the post here) and by happenstance attend the night that Hues of Ego presented. I fell in love with the polished, sophisticated, yet sexy persona that the Hues of Ego designs portrayed. Natasha Duran-Lynch does a great job of taking art and unique visions to transform her designs into the alter ego of the ultimate woman. The woman who focuses on displaying their inner beauty through their well-tailored fashion staples.

This maroon high-low dress is from the Hues of Ego Spring/Summer 2016 collection, which graced the Phoenix Fashion Week runway the year that Hues of Ego won in fall 2015. The dress is made of a chiffon body and has an embroidered neck detail. I loved the flow that this dress has. It’s short enough to wear with pants or leggings too. I personally love short dresses, so I paired this dress with nude Christian Louboutins to accentuate and lengthen my legs. Since the dress speaks for itself, I chose a delicate House of Harlow cuff bracelet and rhinestone cluster stud earrings from J Crew (shop the look below.)

To wrap up TFK Phoenix Fashion Week 2016 looks, I wanted to share with you what Hues of Ego has been up to lately. Natasha has been keeping busy with designing and making custom looks for VIP clients. If you follow Hues of Ego on social media, then you’ll see the various projects that Natasha is working on as an extension of her current product lines. Also, I purchased one of her faux fur scarfs and it’s been a staple this winter. This look was the perfect ending of a perfect Fashion Week! Which look was your favorite? Comment below. Military Shirt Dress, Lace Pink High Low Dress, or the Maroon Short Chiffon Dress…

  1. I love all three looks on you,but my favorite is still the lace high low dress on you. Natasha is such a great designer that that dress fits various body types so nicely. You looked gorgeous wearing it! Great recap and I can’t wait for next year!

  2. This dress is perfect for you, the hem length, the chiffon material looking so delicate, and especially the color! For the rest of the winter, can you just wear wine?

  3. Loooove this color on you. The dark red color with your hair and skin looks so great! Looking forward to the next PHX Fashion Week already!

  4. Love this look and how chic you made it. The dress definitely does speak for itself so I loved that you chose delicate piece of jewelry. And can’t forget about your side braid…I love a good side braid. Great post!

  5. That color on you looks absolutely stunning! You could sell anything in that color. Can’t wait for this year’s Phoenix fashion week!

    Truly,
    -Ney
