There’s nothing like a cute pair of shorts and wedges for summer, but when there’s neon yellow and lace involved it makes it all the better. These ar some of my favorite summertime staples that build the foundation for any great outfit.
Bralette from Victoria Secret Pink – I don’t know about you, but all I’m hearing and all I want are bralettes. I know that they’re probably not best for every body, but for me they are so comfy! This one in particular has a little push-up to give you a little needed support. I love the lace details. Having a lace bra makes me feel better about when it might peak out underneath the sides of a tank or a deep v-neck top. Plus, the length on the bottom helps to create a crop top feel. Don’t get me wrong, I am not wearing this as a crop top. An actual top is required to be worn over this bralette 🙂
Neon Yellow Earrings from Kendra Scott – Bright colors, especially neons, scream summertime! I love the arrowhead shape. They look great peeking through your hair or as a statement when wearing your hair up. Fair warning, these earrings (color and/or style) may not longer be sold at Kendra Scott, so you might want to check their color bar to see if you can customize something similar or check eBay for Kendra Scott lovers who are recycling their jewels.
Lace Shorts from Nordstrom Rack – I love it when I luck out at Nordstrom Rack and find something that I’ve been wanting to add to my closet. These shorts are exactly that. I love the textured bottoms look and you can’t go wrong with black lace! The waistband is elastic, so it’s ultra comfortable for summertime lounging, while looking a bit more dressy than yoga pants – although I do love a good pair of yoga pants too!
Statement Wedges from Target – Every summer I hit up Target to find the latest trends in shoes. They are always collaborating with awesome designers who you’d find at department stores like Sam Edelman and Dolce Vida. These are called Sam & Libby, which is similar to styles you’d find from Sam Edelman. Luckily, they just happen to have the neon yellow trim to match my earrings. The pattern on the sides give an extra oomph, but aren’t too distracting that it’s difficult to find outfits that match.
