This top is a new favorite of mine. I actually purchased it last August with a birthday coupon from Anthropologie. Now is the perfect time for a t-shirt and jeans, especially since we no longer need sweaters or jackets in Arizona. I love the mixing of fabrics on this top. The blue is like a sweater material with a floral design to give dimension and shape to the top. The cut is angled in as to give a slimming look, while the poplin has a side flare and slightly longer length in the back to play on the hi-lo trend. I love it so much that I actually purchased it from the Petite section of the store even though I’m not exactly petite. For me, it should be slightly longer in front, but because I have a shorter torso for my height, I’m making it work.
A classic pair of blue (Joe’s) jeans works best with this top and brown or tan boots is ideal. I think either silver or gold jewelry works well, but since I have gold accents on my booties I chose to layer a long gold Kendra Scott knot chain and a short gold LOVE necklace by Gorjana.
