IMG_2798I‘m sure by now you’ve heard that Victoria’s Secret is transitioning out of swimwear and expanding into the activewear business more. If you’re a VS swimwear fan, you better snag up as many suits as you can while they are still in stores. I’m sure there will be some phenomenal sales, so keep an eye out. If you’re a VS Sport fan, you’re in luck! They have so many great options for workout wear that translates to a variety of different workouts, sports, activities, etc.

The sports bra below is great for people who are a smaller chested, like me, and still want to maintain some curves under their workout wear. It has full support with a little bit of padding. It zips in the front and maintains the racerback that most sports bras have. This particular style is not a push-up, which they also make, but it is full coverage and has a v-neck front with mesh on top. I wasn’t sure if I would want padding on my sports bra. I thought that it might get super sweaty, but it doesn’t. They must use some wicking technology to take care of that. Plus if you get super aggressive with your workout and accidentally hit your boob, you can barely feel it 🙂 jokes!

The complete opposite from the sports bra above, is the sports bra below. It does not have padding and does not have an area for removable cup inserts either, like most Lululemon bras have. When I don’t care as much about a curvy figure, I wear this bra. It’s tight and provides great support for running. Plus the back has a diamond shape opening where most sports bras have their T-straps, so I love this bra when I’m outside since it prevents a perma T-strap tan.

One of my favorite pairs of shorts are the ones below. In true Victoria’s Secret fashion they have found a way to make a short-short that accentuates the booty, but they aren’t too short that it makes you feel like your thighs are hanging out too much. I think it must be from the sinching on the sides, which you can make tighter or looser. Also they have a great way of making the waist band comfortable in a way where you don’t have to worry about your tummy hanging out or your love handles peaking out, which are really serious problems in the activewear area. You don’t want to worry about always pulling your shorts up or down while you’re doing burpees.

Be you, bravely.
