IMG_3553Don’t mind my cheesy car selfie above. It occurred to me at a red light that this was the first time that I used three of my four favorite products all at once for the first time. I get really excited when I find make-up that last in the Arizona summer heat. A big thank you to Casey Fox and IPSY for introducing these to me. As we head into fall, these will be my four go-to products!

IMG_3545IMG_3546IMG_3547TIGI Powder Foundation in Beauty | Typically I use a foundation stick by Bobbi Brown for blemishes and under my eyes that I blend with a brush or all over my entire face for full coverage. Then I use a big powder brush to cover my face with MAC powder. The TIGI powder foundation combines those two steps and actually covers my face completely and without feeling heavy. I still used my Bobbi Brown foundation stick under my eyes and on the blemish on my chin. Thank you, Casey, for introducing me to this make-up line. I heard a rumor that it is while supplies last, so I highly suggest getting it soon!

IMG_3548IMG_3550IMG_3551City Color Cosmetics HD Powder | Following the Bobbi Brown foundation stick under my eyes and on my blemish, I set the foundation with the HD powder by City Color Cosmetics. This helps your skin to look shine free and works for any skin color since it’s translucent. This was in Casey’s IPSY glam bag that she graciously gave to me to try and I’m now obsessed!IMG_3665IMG_3666IMG_3667Smashbox Photo Finish | Working backwards, I actually apply this to my face right after my face wash and face lotion. This helps to smooth any fine lines and allows for your make-up to go on smoothly. It’s an oil-free primer, so it also helps to keep your face shine-free. You actually do this before applying foundation. This came to me in my IPSY bag, but it wasn’t the first time I fell in love with it.

IMG_3663IMG_3664IMG_3668Bare Republic Naturals SPF 30 Tinted Mineral Face Sunscreen Lotion | This is my fourth favorite product. I typically would choose this or the Smashbox Photo Finish, because this mineral face sunscreen works like a primer. It’s a lotion, but it goes on feeling dry, which is perfect when layering SPF under your make-up. Even when the summer heat dies down, it’s extremely important to use SPF daily. If your morning face lotion doesn’t have SPF, I highly suggest investing in this. This was my favorite product while I was in Mexico a couple weeks ago. Super easy to put on first thing in the morning and adds a little tint so you don’t necessarily need foundation unless you want more coverage. This was the first time I used this product thanks to IPSY.
