Last month I hosted my favorite couples event at Robbins Brothers with 24 of my closest friends. It was the 2nd annual event at the Scottsdale engagement ring store that allowed couples to learn about diamonds and shop for rings together in a stress free environment – all while getting pampered by local vendors. (Read about the first annual event here and here.)

This year was unique as it was the first “Evening of Design” event locally that focused on brand new styles from some of the most influential jewelry designers; Tacori, Simon G, Henri Daussi, Coast Diamonds, Michael M and more. The video above gives a great snapshot of the different activities at the event, food, drinks, desserts and gorgeous jewelry that guests were able to enjoy.

Although this is the 2nd annual couples event, this is actually the 3rd event that I’ve planned and hosted for Robbins Brothers. Last spring, we hosted an event for local Yelpers (read about it on the blog here ) and regardless of the theme or the guest list, each event has been so much fun! I love working with Robbins Brothers because the staff is so friendly and knowledgable. I only recommend the best to my friends, so it’s great that I can recommend an entire jewelry store and feel completely confident that no matter who my friends work with that they’ll get outstanding service. I’ve also had the privilege of shopping at the store and through my experience of purchasing a pair of diamond earrings, I know that anyone who shops at Robbins Brothers will feel like they are making a sound investment and truly understand where their money is going.

At this year’s event, I was so excited to feature two of my most cherished finds in 2018; Harmony Boards and Suss Pastries! Both are local businesses owned by people who are so passionate about their masterpieces. Harmony Boards is a cheese and charcuterie delivery business throughout the Scottsdale area. The owners create gorgeous displays of cheese, cured meats, veggies, fruits, nuts, honeycomb, etc. It’s almost too pretty to eat! Follow Harmony Boards on Instagram at @harmony_boards.

I met Pastry Chef Jasmin Smith of Suss Pastries at a blogger market and clothing sale this past summer. After following her on Instagram for a short while I knew that I needed to incorporate her Arizona inspired pastries at the Robbins Brothers event. I was so excited that she featured her gorgeous and delicious square cupcakes. Follow Suss Pastries on Instagram at @susspastries.

I am so grateful for the amazing local vendors who dazzle our guests with beauty services at the event too! Dermalogica in Scottsdale offered couples hand massages for the third Robbins Brothers event in one year! The aestheticians always do such an incredible job putting the couples at ease and prepping their hands for trying on gorgeous bling. I actually fell in love with the ladies from Dermalogica at another event about three years ago and I always have the best time going in for treatments, events and even just to stop in to say hi. Follow Dermalogica in Scottsdale on Instagram at @dermalogicascottsdale.

Sarah Stidham Beauty was repping the braid bar at her second Robbins Brothers event. It’s truly amazing the things she can do in such a short amount of time. She curled all of @glitterglucose‘s hair in only a couple minutes and created the most Instagram worthy braids in a blink of an eye! Follow Sarah Stidham Beauty on Instagram at @sarahstidhambeauty.

Lastly, I was so excited to meet Heather of Heather N Artistry this past spring that it was no doubt in my mind that she would be the perfect addition to the Robbins Brothers event at the makeup bar. Her bold use of color in her makeup looks on Instagram, but also knowing when to tone it down for a classic look leaves me in awe. Everyone looked event ready! For this event it was really important to me that I had an activity for my friends and guests to be able to allow their creative side to come out and who knows, maybe it would be something the couple would enjoy doing together. So, I created a Flower Bar where guests could create their own floral arrangements and take home a bouquet in a vase. It ended up being a huge hit! We had a ton of flowers and vases, so some of the guests and couples went back to make a second arrangement. I loved seeing everyone’s creative spirits shine through their creations. There were some arrangements that I couldn’t even dream up! It seemed like a fun way to get into the wedding mindset too since flowers are always such an important feature of the big day. I’m glad the guests had the flowers and vase as a momentum of the evening along with their gift bags (filled with the latest magazine from AZ Foothills, Vitacoco Coconut Water, Desert Honey Caramels from Suss Pastries, a free eyelash offer from Heather N Artistry, coupon to Harmony Boards, samples from Dermalogica, and more!)

As always we had 6 experiential raffle prizes that each guest had the opportunity of wining. The prizes and vendors are listed below.

If you’re interested in being a part of future events at Robbins Brothers as either a guest, an onsite vendor, and/or raffle/gift bag vendor, please let me know by clicking here and leaving your information.
