Creamsicle + Mani Monday

Summer time is my favorite time of the year for nail art. There’s something about bright neon colors that speaks to me. I found my nailspiration from @thisisprima on Instagram, which is the account for a New York based creative studio founded by Christina Rinaldi called Prima Creative. It’s the perfect Instagram account to follow and get inspired if you’re wanting something new and different for your nails. Below is what I decided to go with:

Some of my friends from work had been going to a nearby salon called The Pampered Pinkie. After seeing my friend’s nails and looking at the salon’s website I knew I had to go! The salon is adorable! It is the cutest combination of shabby-chic meets glamourista. They offer more than just nails too. They have a full service menu with hair, nail, skincare treatments and make-up trends. I met Megan, the salon owner, and we discussed some nail art options. After realizing that my nailspiration reads more “fall”, I decided to brighten them up with adding a neon orange color. Megan used gel polish to get this look. These were the perfect nails for my weekend events (Phoenix Fashion Week fashion show followed by my 30th birthday parties).
