Some of you may remember a couple of my Instagram posts from last week’s Grand Opening at The Sparkle Bar. If not, they’re conveniently placed below to jog your memory.

Like I mentioned on Instagram, The Sparkle Bar is the first ever make-up beauty studio, which means you can schedule an appointment with one of their many artists to have a full face of make-up done before a big event, like a wedding, holiday party, fashion show, etc. Or you can choose to get smaller treatments like a “blush rush” that has a shorter time constraint, which is what I did last night. A blush rush is the perfect package for a Friday night when you’re rushing from work to a night out with the girls or to dinner on date night (I was literally sprinting in my wedges from work to Phoenix Fashion Week). The idea behind the blush rush is that they will touch up your foundation, blush, concealer, eye shadow, mascara and add a lip color, brow fill-in, and eye liner. The whole idea is that your previous day’s makeup will not be removed, so they’re able to get you in and out. I went to work with barely to no make-up on so that my face was easier to work with. Make sure you book this appointment Sunday through Friday as it’s not available on Saturdays.
Before:
My look was done by Jalia of 3JayProductions and I’m obsessed with how she did my eyes. I asked for a dark eye to dress up my sweater/pencil skirt combo and that is what I got. It went perfectly with my stick-straight hair and my nude lips for the night. I wanted to make sure that the eyes were the main focus.
So what’s better than getting your make-up done? Getting your make-up done with a friend of course! I have two blush rush services that I am giving away on the blog and through social media. From now until Wednesday at midnight PT, follow The Foxy Kat on Bloglovin’ for an entry to win. Comment on the blog once you’ve entered and name a friend you’d like to take with you. On Instagram, follow @TheFoxyKat1 and comment on the post below with a friends name for an entry to win. Lastly, on Facebook, like The Foxy Kat and comment on the same photo (pushed from Instagram) tagging the friend you’d like to get your make-up done with. Remember, The Sparkle Bar is in Old Town Scottsdale, so only enter if you live in Arizona or are visiting.
Some additional photos below of their beautiful studio, a close up of Violet and Vine Blogger Nicole Denton‘s make-up, the fabulous make-up artist Jalia and my outfit details. My skirt, Valentina, is available through Kora Rae’s website. Look back at another look featuring the Valentina here. All other items are available through ShopStyle.
