Around this time of year (end of winter), there are always great sales to take advantage of. Last year, I found this Kate Spade sweater for $30! I don’t typically buy myself Fox themed items because usually my friends and family surprise me with them (I have the best friends & family!), but this was one sweater that I couldn’t pass up. I didn’t have the opportunity to wear it much last year since the winter season was ending. I highly suggest keeping an eye out for those timeless and classic items that are heavily marked down and will remain in style for next year.
The top that I layered underneath the sweater is from Nordstrom Rack and is by Melrose and Market, which is same brand from a previous blog post. I’m seriously obsessed with this brand. The way that they construct their clothes and cut their fabrics is interesting and flattering. Their fabrics are so soft and comfortable too. Plus, they are very inexpensive for the quality. I’m so glad that I discovered them!
I’ve already discussed Kylie Cosmetics on TFK blog, but I wanted you to see how this lip color looks. Also, there is a lip liner, a liquid lipstick and a lip gloss for most colors. Here, I am wearing all three products.
If you’re a fan of dainty jewelry that gives off a sweet vibe and can be easily layered, I highly suggest shopping at CatBird. It’s a boutique in Brooklyn about the size of a dorm room (it’s tiny) and filled with the most beautiful and unique romantic jewelry. It’s made with solid gold, instead of just being plated, so the prices are a little more expensive, but it’s classic, timeless and hypoallergenic. I love these rose gold earrings, but I’m always terrifying that I’m going to loose them, so I make sure that I always put them in their special little place.
Lastly, I have to give a shout out to my favorite Old Town coffee shop, SIP Coffee and Beer House, that also sells wine and beer. It’s open at all hours whether you want an early morning cup of joe or a late night glass of wine. My new thing is meeting with friends for coffee in the morning at SIP before work. Starting your day with a friendly face, a few good belly laughs and some delicious prickly pear tea really gets you off on the right foot to conquer anything in your way.
