Still on a Phoenix Fashion Week high and I haven’t even talked about the established designers that showed their collections on Saturday night, October 4th.

Something that I failed to mention in my last blog post (PHX Fashion Week – Part I), is that immediately following the five emerging designers there were three established designers that presented their collections as well.

The first show was Kenneth Harion Couture. Kenneth Harion is a Filipino fashion designer who is based in Kuwait. Looking at his collection, I am immediately drawn to his intricate embellishments, fine detailing and choice of fabrics along with his pattern making. I love the dresses that with the see through fabric on the back, which gives an illusion of a reveling dress without showing too much skin. One of my favorite looks of his is the one piece… I could definitely see Beyonce rocking this on stage, who ironically enough is rumored to be one of his top fans.

To describe Kenneth Harion’s collection in four words, I would say beautifully unexpected decorative art.
