Thakoon Addition – Look #1

Something about the floral pattern of this dress makes me want to grow my own garden. All I need is a floppy hat and some boots right? I love the earthy feel of this dress that is created by Thakoon Addition. Jessica Adarme of Adore Me Co. represented that natural beauty in my make-up as well. She created a soft eye with browns and neutrals, which was a nice change from my typical smokey/grey eye that I’m so used to. The soft coral lip was a nice touch to warm up the look. I love the silver accents of my jewelry as it adds to the cool blue color palette. Keep an eye out for how I styled this Thakoon Addition dress in look number two…

I had so much fun working with Yvette, photographer and owner of Yvee Bee Photography. We connected through Instagram, picked a date, a place and just had fun. Tremaine Ranch made it super easy since there are so many gorgeous backdrops and areas to explore. I appreciate Yvette’s photography eye so much! She has a true vision and does a great job of capturing the overall feel, while making it super comfortable and natural for the people she’s photographing. If you’re considering a photographer for a wedding, family photos, senior photos, or if you’re a blogger like me – I highly recommend her. Something I realized while planning my wedding and going to a handful of showers, is that it’s worth the investment to hire a professional photographer for events. You might not realize it as you’re planning it and you might not realize it at the event, but to be able to look back at the little details of your baby shower and to not have to worry about capturing photos of all your guests is priceless. Also, keep in mind that sometimes it’s just fun to have an impromptu shoot with your boyfriend/ family/ fur-child. We’re always rushing to that next thing, that next stage in life and it’s very special to have a memory to look back at!
