If you can relate to this statement, “it’s way too hot in Arizona, I don’t feel like doing anything!” then I would highly suggest coming to an air conditioned event this upcoming Saturday, July 14th from 10am – 1pm. I’ve been in the same boat with this unbearable heat, but I promise this event will be worth the drive. “Brunching With Bloggers” is taking place at the super cute Ruby Mint General Store in the historical Coronado neighborhood in Phoenix off of McDowell and 15th Street, which means it’s right down the street from one of my favorite ice cream shops – Melt!

Plus, Ruby Mint is teaming up with Fresh Start Women’s Foundation and 25% of the weekend’s sales from Ruby Mint General Store will be donated to providing education, resources and support to positively change women’s lives. Donations of gently used professional women’s clothing, accessories and toiletries will be collected at the event as well, so don’t forget to clean out your closets for a good cause! Other items that are icing on the cake are light refreshments, snacks, raffle prizes, giveaways, and the ability to shop my closet along with three other bloggers… Melissa, Avi, Pariz and Joanna. Follow along on Instagram to get live updates leading up to the event and the weekend of… @thefoxykat1 and @rubymintgeneral

In case you’re curious about what to expect from my closet on Saturday, I went ahead and linked my favorite resell apps here. The O.G. is eBay (go to kittybdesigns.com to be taken to all of my eBay listings) and I’ve been using it for years, but recently I’ve found that Poshmark is much more engaging, easy to use and fun! I love how I’m able to connect with others by following, sharing and commenting. Search for my on Poshmark under Klbloom or click here to go directly to my profile.

Tradesy (@TheFoxyKat) is another app that I’ve been using for just as long as Poshmark, but they’ve recently increased the fee that they deduct from your sale, plus their fee to withdraw money from your account makes it almost 23% in total fees. Poshmark charges 20%, which is still a big chunk of change, but the nice thing about these apps is that they take care of setting up your shipping requirements and send you a shipping label.

Two additional apps that I recently learned about are depop (@thefoxykat) and Grailed (katrinafox12). Both of these apps have much less fees than Poshmark and Tradesy, but you do need to set your shipping preferences and cost, which can sometimes be tricky. I’m new to these two apps, so I only have 1 item listed, but I’d be happy to list additional items if you primarily uses these apps and see something you like somewhere else! If you use these apps, please comment below and let me know what you think of them and how they’re working for you.

I hope to see you all this upcoming Saturday at the event! I actually picked up new merchandise today that I’ll be adding to my resale apps after Saturday, so if you want first pick, make sure you come to the event! The majority of these items are from recent closet clean outs that I’ve done for my clients. If you’re in the market for a closet clean out or are interested in having me consign your clothes for you, please click here to learn more!
