This year I’ve had the pleasure of working with the Pearce Family Foundation in the planning of the Runway of Hope charity fashion show. Meghan (Pearce) Alfonso and I met at the University of Arizona when we became sisters in 2007 through the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. I’m so lucky for social media because it has kept Meghan and I in touch after college. A couple years ago we reconnect through our mutual love for fashion. Meghan had started her foundation and was planning for her first annual Runway of Hope fashion show. I was actually at a wedding, so I couldn’t attend the first year. Last year, I was able to sit down with Meghan and Kylie Ray to discuss the event and get the inside scoop in order to share the details on TFK blog before the event happened. This year, I reached out to Meghan and discussed the opportunity for me to play a bigger role in this years event. I’m so excited to announce that I am working with each boutique that is showing their collection in order to have a consistent flow of styling throughout the show. I am taking the aesthetic of the boutique and pairing that with the hair and makeup styles that the models will have done by the show’s beauty sponsors, Gossamer Salon and The Sparkle Bar.

Meghan and intern Kylie Mudd have been busy planning for the fashion show and I’ve been able to join them in some of the planning. Leading up to the fashion show, there are two pre-events that have given a taste of what’s to come. Last week, I hosted  TSB Social Club with The Sparkle Bar (TSB), which was an awesome way to showcase three makeup demo’s to help you achieve a “Gala Ready Glam” look. TSB is offering 10% of the proceeds of any service to go towards Pearce Family Foundation from now until May 19th. Please visit their website and use the code “PFF” when booking. I will have more about this event later this week on TFK blog. Coming up on Sunday, April 9th, I am hosting a Fit Party at NYDJ where 20% of all proceeds go towards Pearce Family Foundation and you can receive 10% off your Runway of Hope tickets if you purchase at the Fit Party. If you are interested in attending this event, please email me at as it is an exclusive shopping event. I will be styling looks from NYDJ, while you get the chance to try on an amazing pair of NYDJ denim and enjoy mimosas and light snacks.

Please Save The Date for Friday, May 19th at Views, MG Fresh Concept at the OdySea in the Desert. The runway show will take place right above Dolphinarius where there will be a dolphin show before the fashion show. You can expect to see an amazing lineup of local boutiques and national brands. Each guest will receive a swag bag courtesy of Kendra Scott. Let’s not forget about the music, drinks and ambiance! It’s definitely a great time for a girl’s night or a date night. There are multiple ticket packages available – even the opportunity to be styled by me or to walk the runway yourself! Take a peek at the Save The Date video and don’t wait for the event to be sold out before you try to purchase your tickets!
