Every holiday season I go searching for the perfect party dress and I usually end up with something black. This year I’m going to look for something with a little more color to brighten up my look.
These images are from earlier in the summer, but the dress still applies. It’s from Free People and is made of a very soft and smooth fabric with a little stretch. The fit and cut is unique for Free People, since typically I picture loose bohemian styles. However, this gives off a Latin feel with the layers on the bottom. It’s super flattering with the sweetheart neckline and thicker than spaghetti straps. I love to pair it with a hidden platform pump to add some height, and a petite clutch like the vintage faux-snakeskin one shown here. The necklace is Kendra Scott.
