IMG_3176My second Kora Rae look on the blog features The Romantic skirt. I paired this skirt with a Banana Republic basic white tee, an opal Kendra Scott necklace and nude Christian Louboutin pumps and wore it to my first day of work at my new job. I didn’t want to be too fancy on the first day, so the casualness of the white tee helped to tone down the pencil skirt. The ivory lace and ribbon waistband against the nude lining gives off a delicate and feminine look. The Rebecca necklace is a clear opal stone which is a perfect compliment and not too heavy.

IMG_3167Other pairings: I’ve also worn this skirt with brown pumps and a chunky gold necklace to play against the hard and soft fabrics. If you’re a risk taker with your fashion, you can try wearing a black leotard or black hipster bottoms underneath to peak through the organza. This skirt is from the Fall/Winter 2014 collection and is shown with an ivory sweater in the look book. Since this skirt is ivory it’s the perfect “winter white”, which means it can be worn year round depending on how you style it.
