Towards the end of 2017, I had the pleasure of shooting with Beverly Shumway for the monthly “Her Style” feature in the So Scottsdale! magazine. We went to Hotel Valley Ho, which is right down the street from me and took advantage of the gorgeous views from the roof deck and interesting decor of the retro style hotel. My sister-in-law created the coolest braid and waves to go along my two favorite floral looks. One of my good friends gave me the perfect subtle makeup look with a berry red lipstick to stand out. To top of the looks, I had my own style session at Kendra Scott in order to pick out the perfect pieces to compliment my looks. The feature ran in January, but we took the photos in November, so I was able to incorporate some “Arizona winter” pieces as well, like velvet booties and a light leather jacket. Nothing too heavy! Once the shoot was complete, I worked with Emily Glynn who is a writer for So Scottsdale! Magazine to share my fashion journey. I hope you enjoy what you read (down below.)
