Summer Shorts | Look #2

Similar to my first post about wearing shorts for the summer, here is another neutral look. These shorts are from H&M and are dark blue with a white printed detail. There is a slight cross-over and pick-up in the middle of each leg. It reminds me of the sides of 1970’s gym shorts. The waist is elastic and the fabric is very comfortable. This tank is one from Victoria’s Secret that I wish I bought at least two maybe three of. It’s super comfortable, matches everything and great to wear under a blazer and with a statement necklace for work too. With bralettes in every color under the sun, it’s so fun to wear one that slightly stands out under the shirt, again from Victoria’s Secret.

The shoes are also from the DV line at Target. They are a colorful, textured and printed espadrilles. I love wearing them with ankle length jeans, as well as shorts, with a basic tank or tee. They help to elevate a basic style that allows you to not have to think too hard about what you’re putting together. Everyone loves an outfit like that once in a while! The purse is a fun Southwestern themed cloth handbag that is very compact for those days when all you need is a phone, credit card, ID and lip gloss.
