The warm summer months are almost behind us, even in Arizona, but every once in a while Mother Earth surprises us with an Indian summer. For those moments, I suggest breaking out the cut off shorts and tank tops to soak up as much vitamin D as possible.

In this look, I’m embracing my wild child and wearing something a bit more revealing than what I would normally wear. The see through lace onesie from Love Verity is fully lined on the bust for some coverage. The lace fabric has a band at the natural waist to add to your natural hourglass shape and a corset back to make it easy to get in and out of. Lace doesn’t have the most stretch, so it definitely holds everything in.

I decided to pair this onesie with the 2017 shorts of the year! The white-washed Wedge cutoffs by Blank NYC have been my go to since finding them last February at Nordstrom Rack. As soon as Arizona weather hit 65 degrees, I’ve been pairing them with every body suit, button down flannel, t-shirt, and tank top I can find. I’ve also paired this onesie with a pair of high waisted pants and a light jacket to be able to extend it’s life span into fall. The key here is wearing high-waisted bottoms. It ties in with the details of the onesie and creates the most flattering look.

Lastly, I can’t walk around barefoot in the desert without wearing Pure Life Jewelry. This brand of jewelry is made from raw stones and screams wild child. I absolutely love the steer-head charm and turquoise accent on the silver necklace. The raw stones are so special and rare that I always gravitate towards those styles too. The more rings and bracelets the better!

As for the hair and makeup, I luckily had my #glamsquad to help create the free spirited look that I was going for. Lauren Wohlin created a s-wave or Scandi wave by moving my hair in an S formation and locking it in with the heat of a flat iron. Then she finished off the look with bobby pin hair art in the shape of a triangle at the back of my head. Erica used earthy tones for my makeup and created a lot of dimension with the darker colors. I’m not a “natural” makeup person, I like to see the makeup that I’m wearing and this is a great representation of someone like me who prefers “glam” makeup while wearing an earthy and outdoorsy look.
