The holiday season is not only jammed packed with Christmas and New Year’s celebrations, but for three years now I’ve been celebrating Aaron Fox’s special day right in the middle. The first time I celebrated a Fox birthday it was less than two weeks after our first date and he was turning the BIG 3-0! Talk about pressure! Now after three more birthday celebrations, I’m thankful to report that my husband is pretty low-key when it comes to celebrating his special day. The most important things to him is the company of good friends/family, delicious food and flowing libations. This year we had all of the above!
Lon’s at Hermosa Inn is a quintessential culinary experience styled with a southwestern flare. Earlier this year for Valentine’s Day Aaron surprised me with dinner at this local steakhouse that he discovered from a friend (Instagram Post). Walking to our table on the heated patio adorned with twinkling lights and live music was super romantic. Last night was a different experience centered around friends and fun, which was equally as great. Since then Aaron had been waiting till December 27th to share this hidden gem with his closest friends. I reserved a private seating area for a group of 10 people (the largest full table that they offer). It was perfect! The food was delicious (I had the sea bass special), the company was outstanding and the Tito’s Moscow Mule’s were on point.
