In honor of the upcoming GoDaddy Holiday Party this Saturday, I am continuing the ‘holiday party looks’ theme of the week and looking back at my chameleon style from the past five years. Don’t worry, my Hues of Ego holiday party looks will pick back up tomorrow featuring one of my favorites from this feature.

2009

Looking at these pictures from 2009 to 2013, I barely recognize myself. My hair (color and style) is the main thing that varies so drastically from year to year. However, the item that stays the same year after year is the fact that I always gravitate to wearing a dress. Typically it’s a cocktail length dress hitting me right above the knees and typically it’s a shade of blue. This year Natasha from Hues of Ego is helping me get out of my comfort zone and explore a holiday look that I’ve never done before. I am SO in love with my exclusive holiday outfit that I’m just itching to share it with you all. But first, let’s peruse some of these looks from previous years.

2013

2009: I attended the GoDaddy Holiday Party as a guest and wore one of my all time favorite dresses by Brian Reyes.

Earlier in 2009 (at a non-GoDaddy holiday party): I’m wearing the black Elie Tahari shift dress that is featured here as well.

2010: I attend my first GoDaddy Holiday Party as an official employee and went with my friend Corey, while wearing a purple BCBGMAXAZRIA dress (featured here).

2011: Is the holiday party that topped all holiday parties! Unfortunately I don’t have any other pictures than a super blurry one, but fortunately this is the night that I fell in love with my (now) husband. I’m wearing a BGBGMAXAZRIA Runway dress (featured here).

2012: I attended the holiday party with my fiance wearing a BCBGMAXAZRIA gown (yep, we moved quick!). I later had my Maid of Honors wear the same one because I loved it so much!

2013: I broke the BCBG trend and went with an ASTR dress from Nordstrom that has hits of mesh and a circle skirt.

After looking through the years, I’ve realized that holiday party fashion hasn’t changed too drastically. While initially thinking of what I wanted to wear to the party, I pulled out some of my favorite “oldies but goodies” that are just so hard for me to part with. These friends have made memories with me at holiday parties, weddings and even nights out at the club (back in the day), but I believe it’s time for me to bid adieu. Each dress has been taken great care of. If you’re interested in creating new adventures with these beautiful designer dresses, check out one of my stores: eBay | Tradesy | PoshMark

This weekend is going to be jam-packed with holiday party looks featuring the fashion, hair, make-up, nails, etc. that goes into it all! Follow me on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter to be in the know for what’s to come!
