I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas yesterday! As the holiday season is winding down, it seems like the cold weather is just getting started. Two weeks ago, I introduced the third look from my Hues of Ego collaboration that featured three holiday looks involving pants (read about it here). Something that I didn’t show you is the amazing coat that tied the entire look together. Since I love the third holiday party look so much, I decided to spend two days talking about it! In the previous blog post you read all of the details on the Mary Sue pant by Hues of Ego. Today I want to focus on the Vicky coat by Hues of Ego and the Lucite jewelry pieces from Possibility.

From the moment I put on the Vicky trench coat I was surrounded by a blanket of happiness (and warmth). The fabrics and trims that Natasha used felt so luxurious. The white jacket is so pure and soft, while the silver buttons and detachable belts truly elevate the style. If you read about the holiday look #2, then you know how I feel about winter white! The coloring with the tan belts are so complimentary to any look. The best part is that the belt around the waist is a functional belt, which means you no longer have to feel like your figure is hidden under a baggy coat. I love the look and feel of exterior front pockets. It’s essential to keep your hands toasty during these cold months. If you want to vary your look, you can always remove the belts to change it up. This jacket really goes well with all colors. Feel free to switch it up with different neutral colors as well (black, brown, tans, etc.).

The Lillienne earrings and Carmen ring were the perfect pieces to pair with this look. Not only did they match the holiday silver & white theme, but they stood out even when I was all buttoned up in the Vicky trench coat. The Lillienne earrings popped nicely against my curls and dangled to the perfect length right below my chin. These engraved Lucite earrings are adorned with Swarovski crystals and silver-coated findings. The Lillienne earrings are so special that they’re named after the fashion designer Lillienne Lang, who wore them down the Phoenix Fashion Week 2014 runway. The Carmen ring is a statement cocktail ring that demands all of the attention and stands out among the rest. It’s the perfect right hand ring for any occasion. I recommend wearing the Carmen ring as a solo piece so that it doesn’t take away from another ring that you might want to wear on the same hand. Something that you might not know about Possibility is that each piece is handmade, which just adds to how special this company, owner and designs are.
