If you’re not exactly sure what athleisure is, it is the comfy yet cute clothes that people wear while traveling, running errands or going to see a movie in. To take it a step further, Google defines athleisure as “casual, comfortable clothing designed to be suitable both for exercise and everyday wear.”

I love getting dressed up, don’t get me wrong, but a trip to Lululemon is one of my favorite outings. Clothes that are flattering and fashionable help motivate me to work out regularly. On the weekends, it’s so easy to style outfits using athleisure because they are comfortable to wear all day long. Rather than having to change multiple times in one day depending on my plans. Plus, clothes that are dual purpose allow you to spend less money since technically you wouldn’t need to buy as much (at least that’s what I tell my husband.)

If you don’t want to look like you’ve just been to the gym, but you want the workout clothes comfort, try adding some accessories to your look. You would never believe that I’m wearing a Lululemon long sleeve top in this look. Lululemon is aware that some people prefer to wear their clothes for more occasions than to workout in. They have been making changes to make that possible for their customers. For instance, this long sleeve shirt has a Lululemon logo on it, but the logo is similar in color to the shirt, so that it doesn’t stand out.

This long sleeve shirt is great for working out in, but when it’s cold out and I need something comfortable I grab this shirt and pair it with stretchy Joe’s Jeans. Adding a vest like this fur vest or a sweater is a great way to dress it up. I went with my Foxy Cat wood necklace to compliment the JORD Wood Watch that I’m wearing. Lastly, I’m wearing a Kylie lip kit in Candy K, which is my new obsession (keep an eye out on the blog for more details on this.)

  2. I don’t know if I have seen anyone style athleisure quite like this. You nailed it! It does not even resemble gym clothes– so cute.
